Harley Quinn The Polish Nikol A-2
Open house if I'm right
That's the one!

Merry Christmas to all from a very wet part of Australia! Rain! The best present Santa could bring.
Everyone here is happy and we're clearing away the mountain of wrapping paper. Time to cook, drink and gorge!

Cheers
Graeme.

(PS. Nice photos! )

Cheers

It's obviously a good day everywhere.

Graeme is standing up and able to type, and Ken is on number four. I don't drink much - spill nearly all of it.

Ahh, the F2A Frightening. The only model which I didn't fly.

Didn't fly this either:

Ate to much.

Christmas greetings again. Thanks Ken.

David, possibly a Brunelli project? No sign of passenger windows, so maybe a military purpose?

Good evening Graeme.

"David, possibly a Brunelli project? No sign of passenger windows, so maybe a military purpose?"

Sorry Mate. Not Brunelli. However, it was military project - a bomber....

The project didn't fly, but was wind-tunnel tested in 1935.

The designers' name begins with L.

It's "pre-Brunelli".

No ifs or buts or

"Found it, I think....its the Lamanna Blended Wing Bomber?"

In one Mate.

The aeroplane is trimmed, you have control.

That looks a little over-engined. Is it from Airbus? Or does it predate them?

Greetings HD and hope you had a good Christmas.

Not an Airbus project (although I believe there was one similar, but with all the engines above the wing), and it does predate Airbus, being a 60's design.

High by-pass fans in the 1960s.

That has got to limit the manufacturers....

....and again it doesn't look passenger-carrying.

Ah so, Glasshopper.

Noyade has a theory that challengers often stumble upon something whilst looking for a previous challenge.

Just retracing my steps.....

Hi LM....the engine concept had been chosen but I do not believe any manufacturer (or even final design) had been selected.

Not a passenger, or even a cargo aircraft.

Harley, not a Handley Page project, and not a bomber project.

So its not a transport, and its not a bomber....that should limit the options!
