At fisrt I thought it was a test/prototype machine but I think I can make out the revetments used in SE Asia. So, I'm guessing it was an operational type within the US armed forces. Warm?

Morning mate! I think my brain's gone dead. I'm trying to think of a USAF aircraft that was not a VTOL/Helicopter that had a sliding bubble canopy.... Ive just woken up and I'm exhausted already! RR

Ah, I've come alive!!!! How about the A-1E Skyraider???????
Its strange how you can look and look and not see what is one of the iconic aircraft of the Vietnam conflict and one of my favourites!!

Good morning Team - I'm back.
Thank you all for your concerns, and thanks for the PM Ken.
Graeme, I'll mail you about 2000 GMT tonight.
I'm thinking of changing my handle to BM, as in Bionic Mate! I've now got a nice new shiny titanium artery in my leg and blood pressure/flow is back to normal. Still in some pain due to internal bruising, but at least I can now walk normally. You won't catch me whingeing about the NHS - fantastic service.
Cheers guys.

So does that mean every time you fly it will set off the alarms at security!?
Cheers
Ken

Ah... good to see you underway again..... No, mate, not a Caudron. In view of the pitifully bad image I'll start issuing clues at 1200GMT! This image does have one tell-tale feature but you can barely see it I'm afraid. Sorry....
