Noyade, looks suspiciously much like the Sawyer Skyjacker II (except for the small extensions behind the fins)

It is also very similar to the Facetmobile.

....and I've been at this for four hours now Graeme!

but no idea if it's on the net
Had a look, but couldn't find a photo. Oh well.

think I saw it in a Jane's
I think I found three editions from the '70s describing it.

and I've been at this for four hours now Graeme!
While at work?! There goes your Workplace Performance Appraisal!

Noyade, looks suspiciously much like the Sawyer Skyjacker II
Mate, what can I say? You and Sinco never cease to amaze me in finding the bizarre and obscure. It is the Sawyer Skyjacker II from 1975. Thanks for getting me out of a tough spot, your control.

(except for the small extensions behind the fins)
A tradesman shouldn't blame his tools but my mouse was very uncooperative with this one. I had trouble with the nose (looks like there's a nipple) and the wheels, however those extensions are visible in the original, but not in the second photo...

Cheers.

What, you magnified them big time and they're buildings? Can you show me?

They're different shapes as well.

Can't do better than this with the resolution of the original:

I thought they might be objects on the ground, but I didn't like to say what with Graeme going to all the the trouble of colouring them in an' all

Are we having another silhouette at all?

Doesn't look like it.

Methinks we might have to amend the unwritten rules.....

In two hours it is 24 hours without sound from Walter Karl.
The "Things" are here too, but smaller.

Oh OK then.

I personally feel that if someone wins a challenge and does not respond within 12 hours, we should go open house.

If we don't then the thread stalls and we all get .

In any case, at 24 hours we'll have to.

Good afternoon

Under the "unwritten" rules we wait 24 hrs from the time Noyade confirmed WK's guess, so that would be until 2043 this evening. I personally think (and I know I have said this before) that we should reduce the time....initially I said 12 hrs, which is perhaps a little short, particularly when its overnight, however 18 hrs would not (in my book) be unreasonable.

Thoughts anyone?

Ken

Agreed Ken.

Please bear in mind that the Prune clock is often an hour adrift, although right now it seems to be correct on GMT.

I think it should be from the time the winner posts his answer. It is encumbent upon the winner to regularly check.

This, of course, assumes that the original poster does the same. Most of us do just that....

So then....is it 2043 or 1500?

1500 sounds good....oh, look at the time!

In fairness with the time differences involved, particularly as we have followers in Australia and western Canada it is not always possible for the encumbent to check things quickly. I just think 18 hrs from confirmation is a good time frame to work to, particularly as I suspect a lot of followers are working and cannot always monitor whats going on on a hour by hour basis.
