The proposed Gnat Mark 5 perhaps? The "Gnat Mark 5" was a series of designs, ultimately featuring twin afterburning Rolls-Bristol RB.153 engines, improved aerodynamics that resulted in only a general resemblance to the original Gnat, and a top speed of Mach 2.4.

Not the Mk 5, this came a few years before that one, but will have definitley informed the Mk 5, how precise shou;ld we be? It was clearly identified as a Gnat derivative straight away, but I was hoping to have the unusual nature of this design identified. Am I being too picky?

Morning HD! I'd say that you can ask for whatever you think is appropriate and interesting for the group. I don't think it has everbeen agreed but I'd suggest that when posting you state what you'd like identified in order to solve it, whilst keeping within the silhouette theme. Anyone else got thoughts on that?
Would your entry be the Mk4, also planned to be a naval aircraft? It's not the Mk2 as that had a single engine. An unusual feature? Not sure whatyou are looking for?

Think the aircraft looks like a 2-holer with the nav.wizzo in an offset behind,a la Vixen.

Excellent wok in my absence guys!
I think Skytrain has to be the winner as he got the ID, of it being the Gnat light bomber, but kudos too to Mel who supplied more of the details I was looking for, this was Follands unsolicited response to GOR 339 for a cheaper alternative that might be available in higher numbers. The semi recessed bomb was the big clue (so I made it smaller!) Apart from the bomb, the other notable feature is the seating arrangement, referenced by Sycamore
