Good grief, it is a week since I last logged into the site. What an interesting selection of silhouettes have gone by, only two of which I had heard of.
The current one looks more French than British to me, something like a Liorè et Olivier. I have no idea of the model though, possibly a LeO-7?

Afternoon OBAman and S'land! Sorry but its not a Sidestrand, or a Superstrand for that matter. Also not a LeO machine. I'm glad its kicked off with a variety of offers as I feared that it was going to be relatively easy! RR
I had gone to bed. Sorry!
Will go again after a drink of WATER. ;-)
Funny stuff here lately!

I just thought I'd say hello and thanks for this excellent thread. I'm laid up in bed with some miserable virus at the moment, and have spent most of the day catching up with all 189 pages of it.
I thought I was pretty good at aircraft recognition, but you chaps are superb. I have learned so much and it is all very entertaining.
It's also infuriating too, trying to track down the answer to the latest challenge now that I have caught up. I'd say it is definitely of the Sidestrand/Overstrand era, and it looks British or Italian to me. But I'm the new boy, so I'll just keep trying to research.

Mate, trust me, I've been looking all evening!
The Boulton-Paul's seem the closest, and I reckon the era is very late 20's or early 30's
Not American, not Russian I'd say. Not German obviously, because of the period and the post-WW1 ban on militarisation.
My favourites are Brit, French or Italian so far.
Did it actually go into production, or are we too early for clues?
