I watched the Lightning videos you recommended, and thought along the same lines: Imagine a yank staying ahead of his aeroplane if it (for the love of the goodness) would be a Lightning.

I notice that I missed out an h, according to Aerofiles and the "Postcard", it should be the Farnham FC-1 Fly-Cycle

Would yours be used as towed observation post, like the Focke-Achelis by a submarine?

As a second thought, yours is the Bensen B-6 gyroglider.
