Well stone me!
Or words to that effect. I drop in to this thread from time to time hoping for some obscure First World War aircraft, especially a maritime one, so that my treasured copies of the Harleyford series of books will give me that special edge. So seeing this I rushed to "Marine Aircraft of the 1914-1918 War". Is this some Austro-Hungarian creation, an experimental Lohner for example, or perhaps an offshoot of the FBA series? But no, apparently this was not an aircraft that flew during the First World War.
Pusher twin, inline engines, triple bay biplane, snub-nosed (in plan) fuselage, it should be recogniseable. But alas not by me....

Good evening Footless Halls.
A very warm welcome from me and, as you will see later no doubt, from everyone else here.
Please stay with us.
Gentlemen, it might be that we have a new player........

Footless Halls (I'll bet you'll be FH from now on...) when I first gave a look at this thread - March 2011 - all I could see was a bunch of extraordinarly talented people who could guess correctly on the basis of apparently no info at all.
I thought I could never do that.
But I kept trying, because it was great fun.
Then I started to learn some tricks of the trade and started to actually guess correctly some challenges.
To date I have more than 80 kills, doing a job (irl) which has nothing to do with aviation.
So my advice is to keep trying! Because once you have started... it becomes addictive!
Apologies for the long post

No apology needed, I'm just trying to work out what on earth that is... It looks like it is flying over the US or possibly Aus - from the road grid. So I guess not an Italian on that basis. Possibly some COIN design?
Now listen FH.
Some of us are able to move silhouettes from one background to another.
Sometimes an unaldulterated background has solicited big clues from the poster.
This one, however, is adulterated in a slightly different way - as usual.
