Sorry, yes - watching the race.

I do hope the tyres on your Mercedes are attached a little better than on Button's...
Sure are. Nice big 9 inch rims and 170 mph 40 aspect ratio tyres. Been on for 9000 miles now and are about two thirds worn, front and rear.

Will need a new set by the end of the year - ££££££

The Mitsubishi it is - your serve again.

Picture represents a/c from the top (right half) and bottom (left half).

The "jobbers" are, in fact, radiators...

props
Prop. Single prop.
Now you ask me: why in hell would you put radiators halfway down the wings when the engine is in the fuselage?
And I answer: idk

RR: no, the undercarriage covers can be seen just in front of them. And it's not a Messerschmitt but a... derivative.

I think this might be relevant... same manufacturer?

About to leave so no time to look into this. Seems quite interesting, though.
See you tomorrow.

Holy cow. Coming back and the same hollow-nose is again up!

OK, tell me. Is it a low-wing with a strut (the "lower jaw" being the wing), or something else…..

Guten abend Reg, welcome back

Evening Martin, just stopping work to prepare a meal and couldn't resist a quick look!

I think I spy a pair of handlebars, no tailwheel or skid, just a trestle, so it could well be a tricycle U/C? Therefore, I think it's the Farnam FC-1 Fly-Cycle of 1954 ??

I couldn't find an image with a tail like that, however on looking again I found a postcard that makes sense of your ebay comment!! (I thought you were referring to LM's previous post)

Sorry guys but it'll have to be an Open House if correct, as I'm back to work again soon.

I hope you had a very enjoyable break Reg and that your sleeve is well stocked!!

I am now all with you now , LM, and the rest of the gang. My sleeve is as empty as … you know what.

Looked at the Fly-Cyle tail and it doesn't seem to match, but is still the best shot I can imagine.
