A cue for whoever may show up.
This plane is from the birthplace of a world-famous (albeit controversial) fast food brand.
Disclaimer: despite having the world "Happy" in my nickname I'm not associated with such brand in any conceivable way (and I don't like eating there either).

Dorado was good, and very easy to prepare. With spinach and accompanied by Frank Sylvaner a perfect Friday evening meal .
OK, I'll follow your clues....

Thanks HP, a good challenge and as Reg says not too far off with Ryan, in fact, when I was looking for a photo to confirm the Aerofiles entry with no photo (cunning), I skipped past the icon in the San-Diego Archive 'cos it was captioned as Ryan01045, but needed deeper digging to reveal its Federal ID
This one shouldn't be too difficult!

Guten Tag Reg ,
It's a beautiful sunny morning here and I'm taking the dog for a walk on the beach in about half an hour and will offline for about an hour, I'll put my light off when I go.
In the meantime, my challenge was built and did fly!

Good morning TC!
Sunny and +7°C, so will go to low teens during the day (I hope).
"On the beach" . I wish I ......
Built and flew... Was about to ask that . One always notices when one sees bicycle landing gear, but one never remembers where . Were there any V/STOL thoughts there?

No thoughts V/STOL there!
Beach maybe a bit of a misnomer, it is nice and sandy, but with large stones and shingle in places, but at low tide large parts of the Bristol Channel become mud flats due to the tidal range of 15 metres (49 ft), second only to Bay of Fundy in Eastern Canada

I knew you would get it if you came on as you posted it's sibling the M1 some time ago! I didn't show the side view with its distinctive multiple mainwheels, to try and eek it out a little !
It is indeed the the Sud-Ouest (SNCASO) SO.M2
skytrain10 has control and I'm off to the beach, catchya later!

The SNCASO SO-M2 was an experimental aircraft, built in the late forties by the French Société Nationale des Constructions du Sud-Ouest Aéronautiques to gather useful data for the strategic bomber SNCASO SO-4000, which was essentially a copy in scale 1:2.
