MANCHESTER 1
Not sure what you meant by clickbait TangoAlphad. I posted this in all good faith because I thought it might be relevant to those using the airport who read this forum. It was not meant to wind you up in anyway. Apologies if you and/or others found it misplaced or unnecessary.
To answer Manfod the high density 380 has only been used on the evening rotation till now.

LAX LHR
Perhaps this indicates where many of those passengers that once populated the many BA flights (relatively) which were ex LHR have chosen to travel when heading to Far East and Aus/NZ and maybe even SA. Just a thought.

Thanks CCGE29 for your figures. I was unsure of frequencies on the US routes.

I would have thought that EK were busier in winter than summer as visiting the UAE in summary is daft and the better times of year to visit S.E.Asia and Australasia are not the European Summer?!
I'm sure someone could check the stats!

SIN figures now are on average higher than when it ran via MUC.
KEF was another good route performance, only s few thousand behind LHR which is remarkable, and much much higher than GLA which for a long time had more flights to KEF than MAN.

I guess it depends how many through passengers SIN-IAH &vv are on board. If there are enough of them the flights may be doing better than the MAN-SIN and MAN-IAH uplifts alone indicate.
Also capacity was reduced from mid-January when the 77W was replaced with the A359.

Is anyone else worried about the SIN figures? Don't look good to me.
Difficult to know how the service is performing overall without knowing the numbers flying the full route SIN-IAH-SIN or of course the yields.

As this is currently 5x weekly, they are missing 2 of the previous 7 flights.
The average MAN-SIN load is now higher than under the previous MUC tag (noted by LAX_LHR). I don't know what the relative business take up is, but hopefully higher now this sector is non stop.
Onviously the overall performance of SQ 51/52 depends on SIN-IAH and MAN-IAH. Hopefully this is looking good enough to get the route up to daily, although I suspect availability of the A350 might be an issue to consider.

Delta still showing on the JFK next winter - 757. Are you saying Virgin are taking over the JFK full-time as it clearly shows it reverts from Virgin to Delta on Sunday 29 October?

Yes, flights to JFK are still bookable early June on the DL web site as operated by their partner airline. However, at over £1,200 economy for the dates I checked, the fares are unbelievably high.
Virgin's economy price are even higher and the premium ones slightly bizarre. Out 5 June. Return 9th June.
Economy return £1,335
Premium Economy £2,512
Upper Class £2,157

VS start ops to JFK 25th May, DL cease ops then, I guess it's a code share from then on with VS flying the route.

I appreciate the pound has fallen and the price of aviation fuel risen, but United are showing a return fare of £1,236 for flexible economy on the same dates in June, so broadly in line with Delta & Virgin. Advanced 'non-flexible' economy is not available and yet the flights are wide open. Is this indicative of fares to the US for the summer or is there something special about the w/c 5 June. It might be the second week of school holidays for some but I'm still puzzled by the astronomical fares.
On TCX, the lowest return economy fare is given as £350 for those same dates. However, it is the Air Tanker a/c. Does it have premium economy because if it does, it's showing as sold out both ways.
Are VS/DL and UA trying to price themselves out of the market or am I missing something?
