In light of a recent article about Stobart/Aer Lingus Regional schedule release/changes at Shannon for 2015, what are the chances of a SEN - SNN link? They also highlight that SNN is the only other US immigration clearance facility other than DUB. Perhaps an opportunity for enhanced onward connections?
A319 and A320 payload penalties?
Post #287 gave some information on this.
It seem that A319 can have RTOW limitations of around 62T on runway 24 and 63T on 06 (assuming a 5kt tailwind component), in certain met conditions. The MTOW for the A319 is 64T I believe.
I don't think the A320 is payload restricted on any route, with the possible except of TFS, in normal conditions. The current SEN-based A320 has Sharklets which will enhance its SEN performance even more.

EZY has multiple max takeoff weights certified across the fleet. 62, 64, 66 and 68t for the 319. 73.5, 75.5 and 77t for the 320.
All SEN payload issues have been caused by the calculated regulated takeoff weights on the day (wx related). The max certified aircraft takeoff weight has never, to my knowledge, been reached and thus never been a limiting factor.

Stobart Air pax figures for October 2014
Antwerp - 1845
Maastricht - 1018
Munster Osnabruck - 919
Groningen - 1797
Caen - 1201
Rennes - 3931
And for the short time Berne operated the figures are 213 pax
Im sure someone will understand/know the schedules better than me to work out the average pax/load factors on those routes

I think it's approximately:
ANR ... 25%
CFR ... 49%
GRQ ... 46%
MST ... 26%
RNS ... 47%
As far as FMO is concerned I have seen a much higher figure than 919 pax for October so I'm not sure if that figure is correct.
I think the Berne load factor is around 55% for October.

yes they are provisional so one or two could be incorrect, but excluding FMO's figures the rest aren't great
amazingly Berne isn't that bad if it's around 55%

Are there only 29 seats on these flights? If so it may account for the flight prices I saw when I had a little play. Though don't think even 100% would cover the costs.

Interesting to compare October's totals with those for September:
Antwerp - 1845 (September 1193)
Maastricht - 1018 (Sept 498)
Munster Osnabruck - 919 (Sept 1445)
Groningen - 1797 (Sept 1550)
Caen - 1201 (Sept 1084)
Rennes - 3931 (Sept 2848)
Obviously one more day in October, and half-term holiday, but even so the Antwerp, Maastricht and Rennes routes are showing encouraging growth. Admittedly they will need a lot more, but it is early days yet and word-of-mouth is still the best advertising tool......

I believe that all the SkyWork Airlines Dornier 328s seat 33 in total; 31 pax and 2 cabin crew.
From the CAA stats we can now see that since the Stobart Air/Flybe routes started operating...
ANR = 6,023 (4 month figures)
CFR = 5,814 (4 month figures)
GRQ = 9,045 (5 month figures) - Target of 20,000 in first year
MST = 3,204 (4 month figures)
RNS = 14,827 (5 month figures)
FMO = 7,953 (5 month figures)
TOTAL = 46,866 - Target of 200,000 in 2015
