Maribor
Good to see the item in the Guardian following on from the competition arranged by the Telegraph earlier in the year. Good (free?) advertising for the route, or have the papers been paid for their interest? Whatever, it's good publicity.

It appears from the Skywork website that - following the resumption of the LCY service in July, SEN - Berne goes down to 5 weekly. This comprises 1 x evening return flight on Mon / Wed/ Thu / Fri and Sun. The Tue and Sat services are no longer bookable.

Although it looks like they are running down the service to ultimately close it, it is still bookable past the 31 August when LCY-BSL-BRN is supposed to go double daily Mon-Fri. However this could be just in case they fail to get the slots they want at LCY. BRN-SEN still not bookable for winter.

Air Humberside has posted this article which sounds encouraging enough at this stage.

No reason to be muted, they aren't really flyBE routes. Stobart Air will be covering any losses on them. Amazing to see four of the original six routes surviving. I was sure that Munster wouldn't last.

Maribo
I recently spent two weeks exploring by car for the first time the beautiful country of Slovenia. However, personally, I found nothing interesting in the city of Maribo. Although convenient for Ljubljana (old town), Lake Bled and the mountains (Bled cream cakes), Zagreb, Austria and the narrow coastline, it will be very interesting to see what support this new service gets. During the past week, what aircraft has been operating the route, and what are the passengers loads like? Clearly SEN should not rely on Easyjet to expand their services (probably the opposite), and Skywork cutting back wont help the annual figures.
The CRJ-900 operated all three flights last week and that type seems to be the default aircraft going forward, although that was probably anticipated to be the case by Adria. The A320 is shown on their website as operating tomorrow's flight however. I have no idea of the passenger loads.
I'm keeping an open mind on easyJet's intentions for S2016 and wouldn't rule out an increase in activity on their part.

If the flights from Maribor are anything like the Wizz flights from Eastern Europe most of the passengers will either be migrants looking for a new life, migrants going home on holiday or families of migrants visiting the UK. As time goes on passengers levels can only grow.

I would hazard a guess that the A320 operating Monday´s flight could be England supporters using the service returning from the game in nearby Ljubliana and not being able to get on a Wizz or easyjet flight.
