It's possible that a Westminster government would devolve responsibility for APD to Scotland anyway. The same applies to Wales with the Bristol Airport management similarly concerned about how a significantly lower APD rate (even right down to a nil rate) in Wales would impact on them.

I notice SAS have been using a fair few CRJ900s to CPH recently, shortage of Cimber CR2s, or higher than normal loads?

I understand that the CRJ900 is now programmed for the majority of NCL flights.

It was an Atlas Air 747-400 which came in from Brazil, and departed to Calgary via Brize Norton at about 2:30am this morning.

There's also been a few Atlas 767s in recently too, as well as Kuwait Air Force C17s.

There is a good picture of it on the airport twitter link. I think it was an MOD flight (used to be MME).

Might be too much of a big ask but does anyone know if/when anymore of these are due? Keep missing them. It's bittersweet really, I'm glad NCL is getting the revenue/pax etc from this but nothing will beat seeing these big buggers at MME, you can get bloody close there (good memories of the Air Tahiti Nui A343, Cyprus Airways A332 and probably most fondly... Seeing a Euroatlantic 772 and Air Caraibes A333 on the ground at the same time).

Very interesting, thank you, I see that aircraft was the RR testbed for the Trent 1000. Back on topic though, fingers crossed for more at NCL.

Technical issue came to light just after pushback and the aircraft pulled straight back onto stand, I beleive the plan is to operate the flight with whatever passengers and cargo there's left after tomorrow's scheduled departure, with today's looking to go at some point during the afternoon.
