well the first 2 of the FCA painted 763's are in the fleet til mid 2012 and the others til 2014, so there's a possibility of them flying about in FCA colours for another 4 years.....
In fairness it does only say first choice on the aircraft and not first choice airways. All aircraft are marked up next to every passenger door with Thomson Airways titles.

Has anymore been heard on the winter leasing of the B737's and B752's? I know that at EMA there will be a B752 and B738 this winter, not 2x B738 because one of the B738's are off to Canada? With rumors first suggesting that upto 6 B73H are off to Canada and 5 B752?

I'm a regular pax on main line but not before on Thomson. Expecting to go to AGP with them in September on their TOM5704. I would be interested to know what equipment usually operates this route and weather it varies across the week or is always the same type.
Many thanks.

Paxboy,
Little surprised at this question from you. (I mean it in a nice way), with your experience.
However today's flight according to flight stats, was on a 737-800, which arrived on time at destination, terminal 2 at agp.
Regards
Jubilee
Edited to add, Flight stats rate on time performance as 3.7 out of 5, which they rate as good or 72% on time.

jubilee Thanks for your help and no offence taken. Most usually, I am thought of as a know it all, but I could not find reference to the EQU on their site and did not have more time to spare (at the time) to search further.
I know that it's a hackneyed question in PPRuNe but, in so far as I recall, the first time I've asked such a question! Thanks also to OliWW.
I am particularly indebted to CabinCrewe, for checking up on the 'whether' during that time period. Back to school for me for typing lessons.

Does anyone know the current status of TOM's long haul fleet?
I know both FCA and TOM have 33 inches of leg room however TOM operated 2-4-2 and FCA 2-3-2.
Are they going to standardise this or are they keeping the planes as they are? Also, will the hard product be standardised or are they keeping the two separate cabins?
I assume they're around for the long haul whatever happens with the 787s?
Thanks!

No change as far as everyone is concerned, LA and LO are going in 2012, "When" the B787 arrives, others stay on short haul from then on.

The 767s are used more to their potential during the winter as charter long haul destinations, bar Orlando are mostly winter premium traffic:
Kenya, Caribbean, Maldives, Costa Rica, Mexico etc.
However do they then get more down time than they would on short haul shuttles to PMI etc?

Not really, every long haul I have operated since last year on the ex-FCA aircraft has either not been full(only 258 seats!) or has had free upgrades into the premium cabin. A side effect of the economic downturn.
Assuming the CON-LIB government abolish the absurd tax on the premium cabin this inbalance will right itself once the economy is back to normal.

TOM bases Winter 10/11
Can anyone tell me how the TOM aircraft will be spread across the bases this winter as I noticed that TOM are leasing several 738 aircraft to Sunwing Airlines over the winter.
Cheers

Yes, though as far as I was told, the TOM UK fleet should have 5 x 738 aircraft plus 4 x 733 aircraft over the winter. The other 738 aircraft are expected to go over to Sunwing between November and December and due back between March and April. So not sure now, though I guess things change all the time.
