I looked again, you get different results from searching differently, I can get either 3 or 9 destinations depending on the method of searching the site.
Keep the dummy reference booking if you would like to treat me and 7 other ppruners to a holiday, after all, you said you can easily make £10k in an afternoon recently

"Now we have those well-known Canada-crashers MK blasting our town"
The words of Eastcliff Richard He's the one who is claiming that MK's 747s are an accident waiting to happen (or did but now appears to have removed that reference) and is using a 4 year old Canadian newspaper article to justify his claims. Nice man!

Thanks all for the info on the DC3 flights.
Re MK, if they're due to start using EDBP and have a hub already at EBOS why have they, according to Throat, registered all their British 747 as being based at Manston?

I've trimmed the following piece to avoid advertising, made some comments, and improved the punctuation.
Join the debate on Kent International Airport
Kent International Airport is undertaking a major public survey to measure the demand for the airport near Ramsgate.
The site, which is currently able to handle 800,000 passengers a year, is already home to one of the UK’s longest runways (urban myth) capable of handling all commercial aircraft types.
The survey is being run in conjunction with ... and all those that complete it are in with a chance of winning a free holiday in Majorca. ....is offering flights, transfers and half-board accommodation for two adults.
Matt Clarke said he is confident the results of the survey will back up their own research showing increased demand for flights. He said: “This is an opportunity for the Kent public to let us know how they would like to use the airport in the future, and in particular the places they would want to fly to, the frequency of their air travel, and how much they currently spend on travel.”
The survey coincides with reports that BAA’s ownership of seven UK airports, “may not be serving well the interests of either airlines or passengers”, according to the findings of the Competition Commission.
The final report, due to be published in August, could force BAA to sell one or more of its airports. It was given ownership of Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted more than two decades ago to make sure there would be enough airport capacity in the South East. According to the commission, there is still a shortage of capacity.
Mr Clarke agreed, and argued that Manston was ready-made to offer the extra space needed. He added: “The lack of runway capacity in the South East is often raised as a potential restriction on the economic growth of the region. At KIA we already have a runway that is well placed to serve passenger and freight airlines – Kent’s Airport is ready to go right now and already hosting daily (um) 747 flights.
“We are currently undertaking a masterplanning exercise to work with the community to map out the future of our Airport. It is becoming very clear that KIA will play a significant part in the South East’s future network of airports, which will directly benefit the district and county’s economies, creating thousands of new jobs.”

i am not sure that more industrial units built on farm land around the airport will improve the chances of regular scheduled flights from manston, the charters are welcome but scheduled is the way forward.
can you also point me in the direction of this survey, i would like to add my two pennies. ( or euro's, whatever)

Holiday Passengers
According to Kent News, Kent Escape's first Majorca flight left on 2nd May without a full load. Sadly they only managed to fill 176 out of 178 seats. Maybe the Jersey flights will fare better.

Heard on good authority that some airlines/ tour operators who have not secured slots at London’s big 4 airports for the Champions league Final in Moscow are now actively looking at Manston. I kid you not.
