Hmmmm

Don't remember MOL / Ryanair slagging XL off just a few years ago when they leased Excel aircraft and crews to fly routes for them out of Stansted during the winter season.

Fortunately, nothing was ruptured (I've seen my GP twice and an ENT doc once), but I did experience aches...

As long as you land with less than about 3000kg in each wing tank (they hold about 3900kg when full), the ice will melt when the tanks are filled up with "warm" fuel from the bowser.
