Thanks guys for the replies as to why BA don't do fixed links. It's hard to think that with the sophistication levels of rostering softwares out there it shouldn't be too hard to achieve.

Jokes apart I think we need a new flying school that will complement the one we already have where training takes too long. I've met some students from Zaria and that was thier major complaint.

What a shame that kids are no longer allowed to go the flight deck. Once in a while though with common sense we still give passengers a lift in the jumpseat although not in Europe or north America.
