We would have looked for the Marree Man, - but was told he is all overgrown now.


Saw plenty of these..



a man-made feature, like roads, on occasion..



then there were these.... guess you know where they are..

I saw you using your new toy on the weekend.....no doubt the chances of a red tail jet were limited .

I noticed the pink in some of my shots from Lake Eyre too, in different light.
Some from the same places recently..





Would swap your cockpit for mine, but would mean less time looking out the window..

The pink in the water of Lake Eyre is due to the algae growth that occurs in the extremely high salinity level water. It is apparent when the waters start to recede because it is then that the salinity levels start to rise without the influx of fresh water.

So what's the go with the strip that runs approximately North/South at William Creek, the Northern most end of which is just to the South of the Wrightsair accommodation donga? Who uses it / is allowed to use it?
