Ouch VH-XXX.....I have 3 comments
1. I bet this happens a lot. It's just THIS one was being videoed.
2. This is why owners are reluctant to put their aircraft on flying school's lines.
3. "Hey,engineer. The left oleo is very low, hard to taxi in a straight line & in flight won't trim for straight & level"

Great photo's, Jamair,
were they taken in thunderstorm alley (Burketown to Mt Isa)?
Often depended on RFDS for Wx radar reports when I was flying without radar in that area,
that area is not as sparky as the Kimberley, but a good close second.
catch you around the traps again sometime, rgds, MF

Not as local as I would like, though yesterday I missed the opportunity of a V-Tail in a paddock in Northern NSW on sticks. New England Hwy near Armidale.
Here's some while making time in Georgia.
Nice to be able to get up close with these machines.

Haha, I think the Dr's comments were tongue in cheek, because he couldn't see any pics. Neither can I!

OK,while we have a slight intermission til Sprocket gets his piccys up,here,is something I stumbled upon for Forky
In the years of V tail Bonanzas in the USA,many doctors flew around in them & for some reason, crashed. They earned the name Fork Tail Doctor Killers. Now,we all know where Forky got his name.
