The previous pic looks like you are at FL290....or lower!

Seriously big rocks down there. I have only flown over them in daylight a couple of times and it is quite impressive.

Great photos. Considering they are over a third of a century old & taken with that old fashioned stuff called 'film',they are remarkably clear. Any more?

Yes, it is my old workmate from PNG (74-79)- Ian Hodgson - when we both flew down from POM to the BV races in 76. I have posted several times seeking info on him - didn't get much back, except that the piper - in which I accompanied him many times - went down in PNG - Ian not on board - do you have any info on him ?
