A380, Just over that hill in the next valley is a little place called 'Gilgit' Apparently, the more adventurous can go there, hire a car with driver, drive for a day through the hills and have a cuppa with the Chinese border guards, who are happy to entertain as they see bugger all out there!

True, that Kestrel was a nice looking machine (nearly as nice as those Lancair Evolutions

VH-XXX - those Comp Air 8's do look tough, but there was something wrong about the Comp Air 9 - really looked as if the wheels should go up and down.
It was a good show; pity about it being a bit damp on the last day and everyone pulling up stumps early, but it was nice looking at a few things without fighting the crowds.

Is that first pic some sort of aerostar conversion?
All of that fantastic plastic stuff looks rubbish. Those Aerocomp things look like they were designed by a committee
