Jaba,
Went and saw Alice in Wonderland last night and everytime the red queen yelled 'Bwing out the Jabawocky' I was expecting to see a RV-10 come careening over the hill

Ha! I had the big sales pitch thrown at me about that Broussard 3-4 years ago when passing through Maryborough. Would be a hell of a fun beast to own....you might need your own oil well to keep her fed though.......
Now that C180, that could be tempting

Wow,Frigate,what memories.
I learnt to fly on that PA28 VH-CNH,in 1973 when it was brand new.
It was at NASA in Cessnock hence the C N rego. Imagine how many pilots have flown that. Most of the Pprunners reading this were nowhere even close to being born.

Yes Chuck, Jim is retired here now - still comes to the hangar - the C.180 is his Super. Rip was his apprentice at Maroochy, when they maintained the fleet in the early 70's, before he up and left for New Guinea.

Probably French, - she is a genuine Warbird as she saw service in Algeria. Is the only one of type in Australia.
Would love to see it on amphibious floats on the river or Sandy Straits....

Contact [email protected] or at the hangar, he could put you in touch with Jim. Like I said , there is a C.185 with pod available as well.
....O...K....!!
Look in the postcode book for 4650, and find a maintenance company with the initials M.A.S., and ask for rip
