BSD - no, I was not at Duxford!

Well, I guess you are technically correct. I was standing on the bridge over the canal at Cambridge (where the punts are) when I took the pic!

The aircraft were operating out of Duxford though.

The B17 is the one that flew across from the US for celebrations.

Dr. Forky,

You are in my neck of the woods! I drove past Duxford on my way home, and saw this B17 yesterday evening. Hope you are enjoying Cambridge.

Off to the US this weekend, so I won't see any of the FL show.

However, I am off to OSH, in a J3-S from New England. Great excitement, and eager anticipation all round. If I learn how to post, I'll try and contribute some photos.

BSD.

p.s. only ever flown one Bonanza - VH-SQE, in Western Australia. Fabulous country, wonderful aeroplane.

Ah, well of course!

I bet it doesnt have quite the short-field performace of one of Bundaberg's finest, though... but you could customise the inside quite nicely and make a motor home from it...

What? - Latest Eagle Air (NZ) B1900D
Where? Cairns
Why? Engine run prior to delivery flight (no cowl on top of left engine?)

(hopefully the little reminder about not posting for so long goes away now)
