Jabawocky, back seated on the legs to Parafield. It is ex Bankstown, Bill Hamilton's old steed. Makes all the right noises and 2000 RPM and 30 inches on low blow gives 200 Kts and apx 200 LPH. T28D (poster), should know how to fly it now and figures may vary.
Apologies about pic size, my first attempt.

Couple more. I was lucky enough to be asked to pick up Nancy Bird-Walton from Bankstown and fly her down to Nowra for the airshow a couple of years ago. Another glorious day for flying and a real privilidge for me. I got her to to sign my logbook. She certainly still has the touch as she flew us down the coast to Nowra. Yes I did stuff up the landing at Nowra in the Twin Commanche, not one of my better ones! Bit embarrassing, but I did do a better one on return to Bankstown.
My wife graciously drove down with my two girls who got to sit on her knee and get a photo with her. Overall a very very nice day (even got a VIP pass for flying her down!).

Those aerial shots of Camden bring back memories. Learnt to fly there. I vividly recall riding a Vincent Black Shadow down 06/24 one night. Nancy is a wonderful person. Kept myself and a couple of mates on the straight and narrow at Canning Bridge for a few days before the Perth to Sydney Air Race of 1978.

Yes it was a HRD. Bloke who owned this one also had another, Black Widow or something. I owned an AJS 500 single in them days.
I believe one of the Challinor Brothers from Murwillumbah restores old bikes and if anyone had a Vincent he would, (or know who has one). They have done some excellent aircraft restorations and now devote their time to Tigers. Mothcare I think is their business name.
