Wanaaring...
Yep. (Too many clues?)

Great spot for an overnight if you like bush pubs and a drink with the locals.

Moc and Sheree (used to be at Hungerford) are great hosts. Excellent N/S airstrip.

Don't remember as all drinks went on a tab. All we could drink plus dinner, bed and breakfast was $105 pp.

Bugger Bentleg. I've been away from computer all weekend... would have picked Wanaaring straight up.

Would like a dollar for every time I've battled from Hungerford down to Wanaaring and back. Easily one of the worst roads in Australia.. beats the Plenty and Gibb river roads hands down.

The best way to get there is to fly... for sure

DF that view looks familiar,

Yes - thought you would recognise it.
Geez DF, those photos must have been taken on one of the three days a year you get cloud at LEC!

Been seeing a fair bit of cloud recently, very windy as well. Place was a no-go zone this morning due to fog. As per usual it wasn't on the forecast - BOM rang me at 08:30 local & said erm, we see that there's not much difference between the temperature & the dewpoint there - have you got fog or low cloud? By that time it had almost cleared!

DF.

Nah, not "wonderful" Olbia... It is an island, closer to Spain. (it's the GA ramp... not the ramps you'd have been familiar with)

Correct, Palma de Mallorca.

Lucky crew, the wx was fantastic there. Naturally, we didn't stay. We went to Faro (LPFR)

Anyone want to take a punt on where this strip is?

Or who / where these LEGENDS are?

Or this bit of tiger country (Jaba was near there not too long back - if the wx ever lifted enough to get out from where he was......)

And this is just 'cause I like the pic

and lastly, this island (shouldn't be too hard)
