Comments on the Twitter post suggest the opposite - that the agreement would subordinate the MoD to Wagner. If true, it’s not surprising they refused to accept it!

What Andrewgr2 says would make a great deal more sense.

Seems odd that he would choose to do that looking so nondescript. You’d have expected him to want to look as military as possible - badges, medals etc.

Perhaps he is just copying the dress style of Zelensky, looking like an ordinary combatant ?
In comparison to the multi medaleded , ridiculous fancy dress styles of the Russian generals!

But he doesn't even look like that. He just looks like a bloke in the pub. As you say, very un-Russian. How did he even get past the guards and into the building with a cameraman? All very odd.

More Russian theatre. Portraying himself as a rebel so that he doesn't get blamed by his own troops for causing tens (hundreds?) of thousands of their deaths...leading to a swift window accident. Now that his usefulness to Putin has reduced...suddenly he's got their best interests at heart.

The Russian Army..

I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down hot water bottle up, and ripping tennis balls in half… handy skills to have in wartime.

NATO secretary general asked to remain in post for another year, that makes a whole lot of sense, he knows the job, is doing well, and allows for consistency.

Not sure the premise is supported by facts in evidence, the author makes some valid points towards syllabus change in exigent circumstances, but no cause-effect relationship is shown. This is a kinetic, chaotic and dangerous event for all involved. there is as much likelihood that the unfortunate pilot avoided an earlier demise with the change of duty, and may have survived longer just from that.

A US Training Program [MAY HAVE] Contributed [OR DEFERRED] to a Ukrainian Pilot’s Death. It Must [MIGHT] Do Better.

Very little news about the fighting. I don't know if that is good news or bad news?

Ukrainian artillery aided by drones and using German-made SMArt 155 artillery shells destroyed Russian armored vehicles. That smart munition type has been delivered together with the Panzerhaubitze 2000.
