Ukrainians reports that a military base of Kadyrov Chechens was hit last night, at Lazurna Recreation Center in Primorsk. According to the Ukrainian side, one of Kadyrov’s closest men was there. A total of ~200 soldiers were stationed there.

While my reservations on causation related to Versailles still exists, th Marshall plan for Ukraine to restore it promptly to being a productive country will increase stability there. Russia needs to stop enjoying eating dirt and consider entering the wider world without their Urals size chip on their shoulder. Not really, but the Helicopter hit the other day appears to have been struck by one. They did have a couple of the Stormers damaged. |
Russia submitted a bill to parliament pardoning all small and medium crimes of participants of the so-called "SMO".
Both professionals and mobiks will be exempted from criminal prosecution even if the crimes were committed before the law came into force. Those who receive state awards or retired from service will also be exempt. Putin appears to be hedging his bets on Ukraine not being able to produce its own tanks etc as he destroys their infrastructure, so will eventually run out of arms and have to rely on the West. That is a fine asumption, but the only flaw is the West are supplying and are ramping up production in several cases while parts for his own scrap metal in storage relies on Western items that will get more and more difficult to source. But it may not even get to his point of eutopia as his army may not survive long enough to see some of his wonder

How the crew managed to trigger three AT-mines is beyond me, but glad they survived, and with an experience and now more experienced. |

Ukraine is assessing Australia's F18's to see if they are in good enough shape!

I shouldn't think there would be any doubt about the condition of Australia's F18s. They would have been well looked after.

Ka-52 has the highest ratios of shoot down to number in service. Its been a disaster, and the Krembots are singing its praises.

On average it take 10 manpads to take out a helicopter, according to Polish sources. it depends what was fired at it, I thought it had sensors and countermeasures for various missile systems, however the starstreak is guided so tends to be invulnerable to those. The other 18 could have been a whole gamut of missiles but the starstreak knocked it down. |

On a general discussion I know someone who worked on these, about 18 were flown in on Dec 20201 and parked. From his time working on them he thinks about 20 could be made combat capable, about a dozen suitable for training and the rest are clapped and suitable for only spares. |
