If the bombs yield is more than Little Boy is it corect to call it tactical. Deploying it will be a strategic disaster facing strategic consequences.

Tactical is about use not yield.

If Russia exploded a 100kt warhead over the battlefield that would be tactical (if deplorable), if they exploded the same warhead over London that would be strategic (and fatal - for Moscow).

Delimkhanov is rumoured to have been killed in Primorsk. He is/was a member of the Russian State Duma and head of the Chechen branch of Rosgvardia,

Ramzan Kadyrov published a cryptic message on his telegram saying he lost his dear BROTHER Adam Delimkhanov who is not getting back to him. Kadyrov is asking Ukrainian intelligence to say what positions they hit so he could find his friend:

"Using nuclear weapons could save humanity from a global catastrophe" - yet another crazy thought of the Russian propaganda.

Sergey Karaganov, pro-Kremlin political scientist, academic head of global economy and global politics faculty in Higher School of Economics, called for Russia to used nuclear weapons against the West in Profil magazine.

Karaganov justifies his thought with Russia's failures in Ukraine. He believes that even Russian victory in the war with Ukraine and even bringing all Ukrainian territories under Russian control won't help finish "the clash with the West". Russia, in his opinion, would get "stuck" in Ukraine for years when it really needs a shifting in its "spiritual, economic, military-political center to the East of Eurasia." And that's just what the West needs, Karaganov believes.

So Russia, according to Karaganov, needs a crushing victory not over Ukraine but the West itself. Karaganov suggests "restoring the persuasiveness of nuclear deterrence, lowering the unacceptably high threshold for the use of nuclear weapons, prudently but quickly moving up the ladder of deterrence-escalation."

He believes the first steps were already taken - Karaganov mentions the placement of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus - but it's necessary to move on and issue an ultimatum to the West. If it is not obeyed - "strike a group of targets in a number of countriest to bring those who lost their minds to their senses." It follows from the text that the goals are in Central and Eastern Europe. After that, Karaganov writes, USA and NATO will surrender because America would not want to risk Washington "for some Poznan." He continues that China and other countries of the non-Western world would thank Russia in the end for ridding of "Western hegemony."

The United States has blocked the sale of HIMARS for Hungary

The sale of the $735 million stake was blocked by the top Republican, Senator James E. Rish. In a statement to The Washington Post, he said that Hungary must admit Sweden to NATO if it wants to receive the arms package.

The package includes 24 batteries of HIMARS rocket launchers, plus over 100 missiles and pods, along with related parts and support.

The problem with these nuclear threats and everything else that Russia is doing and saying is that we have no idea what, if any, chain of command is operating, who is responsible for statements and actions and whether they represent considered tactical/strategic plans or are just desperate reactions to adversity.
