I asked supply for some speed tape, just in case. But they said it hadn't been invented yet and gave me this instead.

As Young Mr Grace would say, “You’ve all done very well.” I will have a mammoth task wading through your excellent inputs already, so I’ll call ENDEX at 01.2359 Aug and try to choose the winner tomorrow morning.

BTW, glad several of you followed my lines of thought, but that will NOT influence me!

RAF flying was so much more fun before they brought in all these stupid regulations we have to review before every flight !

....and in a close run race as we near the winning post we have Buster laguushing with 3 entries at the back but in second place we have Kiltrash with 26 runners but out in front is Nutloose with 27. So it's still all to play for...
