Caption competition
If one was lucky enough to be issued an attractive camel, then the position one assumed when firing the main armament could be rather pleasing. If the camel also happened to be female, one was considered doubly lucky.
"There's a piece of string tied to the end of my rifle and wraps round the telescope here, the lamp-stand there and the end of the gun mounted on the camel, and if we're going at 5 mph in zero wind I can sometimes get my hat from the camel's head onto my own without moving from this comfortable chair. And what's more, if we go backwards at the same speed, I can put it back on the camel's head."
The RAF Regiment, chronically short funded as always, does it's best while on deployment.
Ahab the A-rab, with Clyde the Camel, looking for Fatima's tent. Luckily, Fatima suspected Ahab might not have good intentions when he said he wanted to get a shot away, and broke camp the night before.

The equipment is great. However, the camel tends to pass wind a lot, so I bought this Calvin Klone aftershave to cover the smell. Unfortunately, it seems to attract flies.
