The Judging Panel apologised profusely for arriving late for duty, due to an unforeseen unpunctuality.

The Panel commended all entrants for their hard work.

The results:

In Third-Equal Place are CONSO with: "Dammit Joe- let the left wing go NOW ! I'll come around again ! It takes ALL of you to catch me- no brakes !!", and C52's: "After reading press reports of aircraft accidents stating "Aircraft left runway during take-off", naval officers try to stop it from happening again."

In Second-Equal place are Buster Hyman with: "Wait! The glue's not dry yet!" and Traffic Er Is Was with: "Hoskins raised the ire of the local Ice Cream salesmen by low flying along Brighton Pier and scaring all their customers away."

And in First Place, and the winner of the Coffman Starter Trophy, is Danny 42C with: "I told you not to try it, Hoskins - this ship can steam faster than you can fly!"

You have control, Danny....

I believe the pilot flying died in an attempt a few days later BTW.

Well done Danny, a worthy winner.

The Walrus and Submariner
Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
Such quantities of land:
"If we could only stay aboard,"
They said, "it would be grand!"
