I always thought the French flag had Red & Blue on it as well.

I always thought the French flag had Red & Blue on it as well.

The old French flag from the time of Louis XIV was plain white - it gained its red and blue a little later - probably to increase visibility during battle. (I would need to look up the actual dates), so the old gags about white French flags has a hint of truth about it.


Meanwhile, I will judge later today.
