Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Rumours that the RAF rank structure pyramid was inverted were furiously denied by all the people at the top.

On the top floor of the new Air Command HQ they discovered there was only room for one Air Officer.
The new mini-pilot was overjoyed as she was the only one small enough for the CinCs new office.

Dear Points of View

I don't give a flying goat's fart if you want to engender a more cohesive trained audience. I don't want to abseil or to 'male-bond' at the top of a Maypole. I just want to sit down with a tin of beer and watch the Two Ronnies.

Yours sincerely

Disgusted

#1 Who has two thumbs and likes giving blow j*bs?

#2 Despite a pay rise, shorter working hours and the promise that aircrew would be nice to them, the air trafficers remained highly strung.

In spite of assurances to the contrary, it was quite clear that the weekly execs meeting was becoming a mere puppet show.

Having lost the Reds and the Falcons for budgetry reasons, it fell to the MRT to provide entertainment at public events with their Highland Dancing with string.

Here Goes

Pic 1. With the wife away on det in Iraq, and the lack of creche facilities available on base, Flt Lt Bloggs was left no other option with what to do with young Jimmy.

Pic 2. After being "Leaned" the RAF Falcons display team had somewhat lost their sparkle

To mis-quote Derek & Clive
"Jump,
you f....ers jump,
into this blanket,
that we are holding,
and you will be ok.
So they jumped,
hit the deck,
broke their f...ing necks,
there was no blanket there.
Laugh we almost shat....."
