"Well Doris, just sit still for a few seconds longer.....

Ah, yes, here we are, your test results bring good news. Your little alien-like baby in your arms is definitely not Nutloose's or Buster's....

....I told you it was too good looking."
Ahhh sorry we were looking at its deformed back, having turned it over and seen the butt ugly alien like child you have spawned, we can confirm it is indeed yours Mrs ShyTorque.

Whilst the cost and size have reduced significantly from the original "Ansaphone Mk 1", there is no longer a manual override called Elsie who can beguile your boss with a sweetly-voiced excuse when in fact you are still down the pub at 3pm.

The MOD's Dii Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) was running slow yet again. It was now time for the MOSS MILFs* to do their magic kn0b manipulation with Doris doing SPOC...so to speak.

* = MILitary Females, obviously - wash your minds out!

The new personality augmentation device for the Secretary of State was in need of upgrade following this year's appointment. Cpl Mavis Scott called up to her OIC - "If I give her anymore Captain, she's gonna blow!"

The Army trials team seemed quite delighted with the new BOWMAN radio replacement as it fitted quite nicely in the Colonel's wine cellar...

Or

Army Colonels have to accept a staggering loss of capability in their Married Quarters in SDSR2015 - just one wine cooler and 3x personnel per household. Oh, the shame of it!

"..and this is the old Moscow 'hotline' is it?"

"No Prime Minister, this is the Moscow hotline. All upgrades have to be co-approved by the Russians you see. And we haven't really been on the best of terms for, well, ever."

pohm1,

Thanks, but....,

While covered in gratified confusion from the honour bestowed upon me, what has happened to the runners-up ? They are entitled to their share of the glory, too !

I have a particular reason for asking: for I can't scan and put up a picture apart from Wiki and something already on PPRune (you can teach an old dog new tricks, but you can't teach him them all !)

So I must delegate to the #2 of your choice. Or call "Open House" !

All the best for the New Year to you and all PPRuners,

Danny.
