The RAF were the logical choice for the service bob sled team. Just like in the airplane the pilots just had to steer while the back enders did all the hard work
What this looks like: RAF pers sports training
What it really is: A solution to the problem of too many RAF pilots who were getting shot in the back by jealous husbands climbing out of the bedroom window.
It was decided that "Bob Sled" training will provide the necessary agility, strength and speed training to cut down on the casualties

Hey I wondered what they did with the old Snatch landrovers and now I know
Obviously ex Buccaneer crew, well they did practice VERY low flying, then (bomb) tossing over Russia
Evidence that the RAF place more importance on the Navigator whose ejector seat fires moments before the Pilots
Tashengurt at work and cant post a new caption
'I so love the feel of shiney tight latex on the skin', glad I have on a helmet, mussed The Stig

After the decline to un-manned aircraft, the treasury decided that only way down was un-aircrafted men.
