Those "Go faster stripes" are great, they hide the skid marks when flyboy forgets to steer.

The RAF were the logical choice for the service bob sled team. Just like in the airplane the pilots just had to steer while the back enders did all the hard work

What this looks like: RAF pers sports training

What it really is: A solution to the problem of too many RAF pilots who were getting shot in the back by jealous husbands climbing out of the bedroom window.

It was decided that "Bob Sled" training will provide the necessary agility, strength and speed training to cut down on the casualties

Obviously ex Buccaneer crew, well they did practice VERY low flying, then (bomb) tossing over Russia

Evidence that the RAF place more importance on the Navigator whose ejector seat fires moments before the Pilots
