Flight Crew Response Time for the QRA Scramble seemed quite likely to deteriorate come Summer!
"Old man said I was in some kind of time-warp, talking about our new bobcat. .. . carried on about something called the bamboo bomber . . lost me completely"

" Jones, just get in and stay with it . .. . . all that science talk of yours about co-efficients of friction and reynolds numbers and such .. . . far too theoretical . . .it's when it gets hot in the front I know we are travelling"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
sir. .. . . sir. . .. another intermission. . . please?
(that is NOT a caption BTW)
In-flight entertainment has come a long way since the early days when projectors were used to beam movies on a single screen in the centre of a plane

British attempts at stealth technology had the undesired effect, unlike the old days, of making machines that were actually doing 100mph look as though they were standing still.

Despite putting on a brave face, the RAF bobsleigh team knew they probably wouldn't win following the HSE directive that they could only participate if they completed the run with the brakes applied.
