Boom boom!! Yeah, sounds like you, me and another 2000 had to wing it!!

What's your nearest TUI airport? Bristol, or one of them on the south coast?

So looking at the trusted Google maps, it looks like Exeter is the closest for me. But I've also got Bristol and Bournemouth within my 90 minute range.

A 90 minute commute could be workable - not sure if they have any rules re travelling time going to work, otherwise you could have a very long day if you're on a long flight!

Not long to go before we find out the assessment centre Oscar nominees...

If I'm not mistaken I mentioned 90 mimutes as i think when you're on standby, you have to be within 90 minutes distance. Then again with the way traffic gets these days you could live 5 miles away and still take 90 minutes

I keep thinking "good things come to those who wait", and trust me I've been waiting since early January 🤣

T minus three days. Hopefully no news is good news. Interesting that some have been rejected before the deadline, maybe they got rid of bad people before doing the final yes and no’s. Also wonder if each of our decisions has been made already and the email is deciding our fate.

regardless of the number, let's go with your 2000 shortlisted for the digital interview, which is about 1/3. So on the same batting average, this year they're looking at 4000+ digital interviews which means an army of 'watchers' to get through them, along with making a decision after reading CVs and test scores, some TUI assessors haven't had much sleep in the last 3 weeks!
This is true, but from what others have said, the testing and standards were much higher this year. So I reckon the number of digital interviews may be similar, just look through the start of this thread. Plenty of people were kicked out even though they passed last year..

I know what you mean. Like the emails have been drafted, just waiting to hit the send button. Mind you they've had a hell of a task with the amount to go through. The main thing is regardless, we'll all get our decisions over the next 3 days. Can only remain positive.

I'm going to sound a bit geeky, but they will only draft 2 emails - 1 for the 'sorry but....' and the other for 'congratulations...'. They'll then use an excel spreadsheet and merge the name cells so it will look like someone has written to you personally, but it's a standard email taking your name from a spreadsheet.

Oh, maybe there will be more emails as the assessments will be taking place on different dates so if they invite you to an assessment, it will have the date allocated to you.

I don't want to be the voice of doom, but if the process of shortlisting is taking longer owing to the sheer volume, we might not hear back until next week.

I too was thinking there maybe a delay, which I can hardly blame them for given how much they’ve got to get through!

This is based on nothing but folk fiction. You have no evidence that there will be a delay, TUI themselves would surely say if there was a delay…

hopefully we do hear back on Friday!

Only just found this thread but another quiet day in terms of any emails, guessing the same for everyone?

2 days to go now!! Not sure if I’m full of excitement, nerves or what but I’m buzzing 24/7 and refresh my emails every 5 minutes with my fingers crossed 🤞

Wishing everyone the best over the next 2 days
