Not long now!!

Assuming they will send one mass email on the day?

Curious to see if anyone else has received any news?

My application date has also changed but not reading into it!

Let’s hope we all get to meet in person ay!

AC details

Can see people talking about booking hotels in advance just in case - have Tui set a date for the assessment days?

Part of me is thinking the later we hear back the better, but worse thing is to get a negative email on the last day. I've been waiting from January 9th 🤣

likewise but I do wander if having your profile reviewed more recently is a good or bad thing as people have different application dates it could also be completely nothing but the nerves are starting to get the better of me and most I assume.

I don’t understand why they would review our profile and not send a rejection if people have started to recieve them.

My guess is if the date has changed and the application is still in progress either we have been successful or in a bucket that they are trying to narrow down. But not rejected at first glance.

on the TUI jobs portal it says I have assessments to do dated January, but all the assessments have been completed.
So mine, although completing the digital interview on the 9th January, now says 22nd January. But says to complete assessments still. I emailed recruitment back in early Feb stating it said this, and they assured me it was all complete and they'd received everything ok. Just a glitch in the matrix probably

My theory is that they are working through the applications based on testing scores. Then putting the highest scoring people on a shortlist, where they then review your video's and read through your CV. From there they would find the best fits based on all of your metrics, testing, interviews and CV/ experience. Only a guess but would make sense, so I do reckon there’s positives to be taken from being later to hear back.

So you did all the tests and interview straight away

I didn't apply until the last day, took the full 5 days for the test and then took the full 5 days for the interview

So I've been waiting since 10th Feb

Maybe they're rejected the more obvious one that straight away they know will not progress

So far, on this forum anyway, we only know of one that has had a rejection letter and as you say, the rest of us are either maybes or definitelys and thus holding off until they're sure they have their top team to full the quota for the assessment.

They will have weighted the tests, interview and CV too.
I think the logical thought is that no news is good news otherwise we would would have heard back by now

Yeah that sounds right. Whittling it down section by section. Still trying to work out roughly how many they'll take throughthrough assessment centre. As looking at the dates I think they're over a 4 day period.

I don't think they'll whittle down section by section - they'll take the scores from all tests, interviews, CV, weight them, and then take the top however many then need.

They'll be a few that they can reject straightaway, that either don't meet the criteria, or from their interview they knew in the first few minutes that they're not suitable.

I've done a lot of recruitment in different industries and that's the typical process.

Or who knows, TUI may have done as you say.

Either way, not long to go and whoever gets through to the assessment day, please ask the question (for the sake of curiosity of course!)

Like you said, we only know of one thats actually heard anything at all. The amount of people on the thread that have applied would make me think that more than one person would have heard back by now to be honest. Maybe the person that got a negative result only just checked their email, or the mail was in a spam folder etc.
The fact that nobody else has heard anything, and the company said they would get back to us mid March makes me think that the person is more than likely an anomaly rather than an indicator of anyone else's success!

Good Luck everyone!!

Hi this was me,

I check emails multiple times daily so when I posted it was day I got it. I passed the initial tests for certain.

Honestly I was probably quite easy to cut, I never even heard of this job and then done it all inside 2 hours, my interview would have been nowhere near the standard required.

I'm generally good at these things, passed various promotions etc but I wasn't invested in this so my interview would easily have shown that.

I was above average on 2 and average on maths also, I was very fast though I imagine.

To be honest I would never have managed to make this work and like my job anyway, was more of a let's see what these tests are like type of thing.

I'd not have employed myself after that interview!

Yeah as I said above, they’ll be working through based on all your scores, interviews and CV. Gradually working the list down!

good luck everyone!

Fair enough mate, I still think the fact you're the only person that has heard back following the interview would make you a special case and Id reckon 99.999999% of the applicants will get a yes or no at the same time. I cant actully find them email with the date on that we should hear back, was it around Friday 15th?

PS - I'd not have employed myself after that interview! - this cracked me up

For those who have booked or are looking at hotels for the next stage assessment centre....

There are 2 lots of dates TUI has issued -
15 - 19 April on their website and 8 - 12 April on the FAQs in the portal

I have emailed them asking for confirmation and clarification. They have just replied saying that the website dates are the correct ones

Thanks
