Whilst we're on the music theme, is tomorrow going to be a Bill Wither's said, a lovely day, or Lonestar's No News Today

i was also thinking about this, 500 seems really good but do you think the assessors will take so many through after having to deal with all of the applications so far that they would want to see 500 more interviews 😂

That was my thinking. 100 per day. Cull half at lunch so theyve got 50 interviews maximum for the afternoons per day. Then maybe cull what's left to 100 over 5 days for the sim assessments. I could be massively wrong though

If you set your email to ping you notifications immediately, then you don't need to refresh or check the inbox.
As soon as an email arrives, you'll get a notification.
The main variable is which email account they send the email from. If it's the standard one that you got the outcome of the assessments and an invitation to the interview, then it might go to junk/spam. And junk/spam folders don't send a notification so that will be a manual check.
Looking forward to checking this thread too as no doubt you guys will update us all as soon as the emails start coming through. I'll let you know as well

50 interviews between 1300-1700 would require a huge number of people. Bear in mind every interview would be blocked at 40-60 minutes with breaks.
A friend of mine is currently on the programme and said last year they had around 7000 applicants with only 132 being offered an assessment day with just 48 being offered a SIM assessment for 30 positions.
From what other people have been saying about the volume of applicants this year being nearly double, maybe they will offer more assessments, but if they are only offering 30 opportunities again, they can be really picky with who they choose.
Fingers crossed for positive news.

Apparently last year there was around 130 something people that got through to the assessment centre day and they’ll be same this year since they’re looking to recruit 30 cadets this year too. And for sim, around 45-50 people.
