Hi everyone,

For those of you who have completed the digital interview, can I ask roughly how long it takes? I’m just trying to work out when to fit it in!

Thanks and good luck to everyone!

There a chance you accidentally clicked a Yes instead of a No or vice versa? There were some very poorly worded questions on there that would've resulted in an instant rejection if selected wrongly

The BA initial reasoning tests seemed fairly less challenging than the TUI initial reasoning tests...

TUI’s numerical and verbal reasoning tests were pretty standard stuff to be honest and similar to the Cut-e tests that BA used.

TUI’s choice of logical reasoning test, however, well… the less said about that the better I think.

Above average logical / above average verbal and average numerical.

I have had the Digital Interview appear so fingers crosssed!

Bloody hell. I've just finished the assessments and got rejected. Last year I progressed to the video interview straightaway with worse scores. This year, I got "Above average" in all 3, according to the reports. Mind-boggling

That’s absurd, surely you have to get through with Above average. This isn’t meant to sound condescending but did you answer all the stuff correctly in the tickboxes as it might have gone back to that and also any mistakes in a CV however that is bizarre as I have seen people go through with 2 above averages and an average. Maybe try contacting the TUI cadet team and see if it was an error. Hopefully they can correct it for you as that would be super frustrating

The wait begins

Just completed my digital interview, felt confident after getting past the three assessments but after the interview feeling very nervous. Think I stuffed it! Quite hard to communicate with a camera . Now the long wait to mid March…

What did you score on the tests? What did you have to do for the digital interview please?

Above av x3 - found the logical reasoning one particularly tricky though!

Digital interview was one practice question to test audio and visual, then four main questions. Nothing really out of the ordinary in terms of the questions they asked. In terms of structure you get two mins to prep, two mins to record each.

Would you be able to provide what the questions were specifically and how many questions did they ask?
thanks in advance

Four questions - won’t share the specifics for obvious reasons. Good luck!

My guy the idea is you have 2 minutes to prep, not all day. Bit of an unfair advantage if you know it beforehand.

There’s a chance with these recorded interviews that every candidate gets the same questions, so it would be unfair to share them on a public forum to ensure everybody has equally the same chance to prepare. Don’t forget, there’s only so many spaces.

What I will say is, they’re nothing out of the ordinary and you get a few minutes to prepare for each one before it starts to record. You’ll be ok

I was the same until doing the interview this morning, feel like i well stuffed it but maybe they accept people don’t do well talking to a camera

That MIGHT be considered giving you an unfair advantage...

I haven't done my interview yet, but suspect there's a reason they want you to know the question two mins before you answer it! Good luck!
