For those who have booked or are looking at hotels for the next stage assessment centre....
There are 2 lots of dates TUI has issued -
15 - 19 April on their website and 8 - 12 April on the FAQs in the portal
I have emailed them asking for confirmation and clarification. They have just replied saying that the website dates are the correct ones
Thanks

It’s says on the website under “frequent questions asked” that we could hear back after the digital interview from date of completion up until the 22nd March, so it’s very likely more than just the one person in this thread have heard back already

Every email notification I get, I get twitchy. Then checking my spam folder as well. Getting nervous for the result now

I second this, it doesn’t say the feedback date is the 22nd. It says that we will hear back by this date, inferring that there will be rolling rejections etc.

Been doing this all day just thinking what could I have done wrong but part of me seems more stressed with the enormous amount of applications that have gone in this year. Nevertheless best of luck to all

I know what you mean. Ive got a horrible feeling on one of mine I ended with a sort of "um" before I stopped the recording 🤣. Only 4 more days for the painstaking wait to probably be told no 🤣

After speaking to one of my TUI friends I think the number going around was 13k applicants. Last year was 6700, and they had 2000 at the digital interview stage. Lord knows what they had to get the 13k down to, let alone how many will be due to go to the assessment centre.

regardless of the number, let's go with your 2000 shortlisted for the digital interview, which is about 1/3. So on the same batting average, this year they're looking at 4000+ digital interviews which means an army of 'watchers' to get through them, along with making a decision after reading CVs and test scores, some TUI assessors haven't had much sleep in the last 3 weeks!

How reliable is that? Was it gossip and rumour mill or is there any credibility going back to the source? 13k is a lot of applications.

And yeah feel sorry for the recruitment team having to go through all the videos (especially my farmer giles accent 🤣

Is that farmer giles as in south west UK? I think that's where he was from? Or am I mixing him up with someone else?
So I'm guessing your captain friend coached you re the digital interview? If so, good on you as you have to make use of very resource available to you!

I reckon on half of them stopped watching by the second question and ruled them out. I say that as I've seen other assessors (not in the airline industry) who said within minutes they knew they weren't right so what's the point of carrying on with the video? That would have saved time.
