Hi jceee

After "the" email, you'll get a call from them and they will ask you to start your medicals and send the scanned copy as soon as possible.

I've done my medical test today and getting my result by next Monday
After you send the medical forms to them I think they will contact you for
the contract and visa and ticket etc.

it took 13 days before i got "the" e-mail..they're just processing ur clearance!

btw, how long does it take after you've sent ur medicals?will it take a month?

Well, I haven't heard from them about the joining date yet.
I guess after I send them my medical forms, they will ask me about it.
I couldn't log on to MSN for some time
since I'm meeting up all my friends before I leave.. kkkkkk

Things are moving faster now

So I went to the assessment in TO on the 1st they contacted me 9 days after staying they processed my security clearance. Also asked how soon I could start. Seems they want people to start as soon as possible for the increased flying that is approaching for the winter season. I asked well dont I have to do my medicals before I arrive and he said I would just do them in AUH. Wanted me to start as soon as next monday. Hi Everyone...

Im new here.. can please sumbody help me with my situation..

I have attented Etihad CC assessment day last Apr 23, 2007 (around 5 mos. ago), but I am unlucky to get into the finals. We were advised that we can re apply after 6 mos. However, I have attended the open day recruitment in Abu Dhabi last Sept 8, 2007 and im thinking that they will allow me since they dont require online application for the open day. Moreover, I received an invitation and the assessment day will be on Sept. 24, 2007. In the invitaion it is noted:

"This is an invitation-only assessment day; only people on our attendee list will be admitted so please do not give this invitation to anyone else. Also, we have not yet verified your participation in other assessment days; we will verify previous participation on the day of the assessment. If you have attended an assessment day in the past 6 months, please notify us now and excuse yourself from this particular assessment day."[/font]

My question is:
1. Should I still attend the assessment day or it will just be a waste of time since there's a possibility that they will just reject?

2. Should I notify them that i have attended in other assessment days for the past 6 months?

3. Will they re schedule my assessment after the lapse of 6th month from the date of my previous assessment?

by the way, if you do your medicals in AUH, and if they find something not good, what are they gonna do then?and how much will it cost them?if it's for free why not but if it's your expense,better to do it in your own country,right?

I m starting next month, and when ryan asked me a few weeks ago when would be my joining date, he asked me also to do the medicals here, and i think it is safer, because imagine you leave evrything, you go there, and they find something not good, so are you gonna come back ???

So, i have my medicals amlost complete,ust missing a few things..but it is kinda hard to get quick appointemants, and i m very busy flying for my current employre, and also renting my house, get rid of the stuff,etc...so very busy...so much to do and so little time..

Just got a call back for my acceptance to working with etihad airlines.. pretty excitied,, but have some questions. my # 1 main question at the moment is what is the base pay. If any one on this forum already works with etihad if you wouldn't mind letting me know, that would be much appreciated. Or even if you don't work with them but know a 100 % that would be great. They informed us of the base salary at the interviews, but unfortunately you think i could remeber. I have an idea of what they said but its nothings even close to what the website says, so i'm a little confused. Any help would be AWESOME!!THANX

Finally done with medicals~

After all the mission of going through appointments and xrays I am finally done with it!! just have to scan it through now, yay!
I think they really need more people as I just got a phone call from them a few days b4 to ask if I could join eariler as my joining date is 28th of october~~I'd love to go sooner but have to get a few tasks finished here before I can head off...

ryz...they have specifically mentioned in the invite to you that they have not had the time to verify your participation in previous assessments during the past six months, and if you have been then to excuse yourself and notify them now...It's clearly stated and you need to inform them that you are not in a position to attend...No point going there on the day and being told you cannot attend...You dont want them to think you can't read?

I thinks so.. I should not go there anymore. It will be just a waste of tym if they will not accept me in the assessment.. huhuhu. I think I'll just try to call and ask them to re schedule me on other assessment days. Do you think it's possible..
