Final Interview

Hi to all Etihad members,

I'm a FRESH user, just got shortlisted for the final interview in singapore with no CABIN CREW experience at all. Am really nervous about it.

"To drinix: I'm invited to the interview in Sg. Doing on some searching to get a rough idea on how it goes"

My question:
Does the Aplicant must have straight teeths? I have crooked teeths. And if i smile too much like laughing; i do look abit of those who have vampire teeths.

After reading all the comments and the happenings about the interview holding in UK or Brussels or AUH. Sounds like would be really a good experienced, even if u r getting through or not. BUT! I'm still scared! i still remember 2 years ago i tried SG Silkair walk in: It was like entering a hall with many competitors for some Miss Pagent or American Idol thingy. REALLY SCARY! i was rejeted, takes me 2 years later to re take again. Maybe i was young then,

well well well... i really need dosage of luck for this coming Fri 21st sept interview holding in Sg. I hope i'm able to JOIN the rest of the family members of ETIHAD Airways although i know there's many applicant out there with previous airline experience. GOD BLESS ME!!!!

I wanna fulfill my dream...!!!!!!!!!!

I never had cabin crew experience before, I made it to the final interview last week. There are already cabin crews who didn't make it. So, don't worry.
Maybe during the interview, try not to laugh so much so that they will not notice it
The first round is the one on one interview and the english test (you have several minutes to answer it). If you make it the next round, there is this skills presentation wherein you will be given a topic and talk about it in front, like in a beauty pageant.. questions like - what is your dream house, fave tv show, fave movie .. etc.. Try not to be nervous, if you are, just don't show it You need to be spontaneous when talking about it...
The interviewers are really nice, they will try to make you feel comfortable. I wish you LUCK, and just pray.. I think that is what made me last thru the day

xxdarinixx

there are several walk-in applicants during my assessment day, one made it to the final interview (and in the website it says by online invitation only). if you don't get an invite from them try calling them and ask them to review your application.

good luck to you, i'm in the waiting game..

Rejection Letter

@Fahim, this is indeed surprising...after the looong wait! I just sooo wonder how they do assess every application for management approval. Have you thought of possible reasons why they refused pursuing ur application? In one forum, I asked one etihad cabin crew as to how and where they might base their approval, she said it's the photos that we submitted. Also, the passport photo you submitted will actually be your ID picture once you get in. You think I should buy that? I'm peplexed by all these!
Btw, I'm actually waiting for my approval as well, just had my Final Interview a week ago and having known cases like this...makes me daunted and scared even more.

Now, we really should not expect anything yet...just keep your prayers with you! I still believe it works wonder!

Good luck everyone ;-) God Bless us all!

....

Dear Fahim,

don't be sad.. keep on trying. i guess my chances are slim too. I thought u passed through till security which thought dat there will be high chances.

Dear Fly high,

Thank you for the information that u have provided me... I'm gonna brush up myself on that. all the best to ya!!

Dear Drinix,

I wonder if you have heard of Inter-excel M'sia(an Airline interview organiser for cabin crew) actually i applied online both on Etihad career website & Inter-Excel. Etihad rejected me but interexcel invited me... i think u try to send your resume to [email protected] dateline 20th sept. QUICK!! go act now!

Dear Siguarda Al Fine,

I guess those items for u to choose is some physcologic thingy. It should be illstrating if u meet any accident which of the item is best for u(since our job is kind of in the air, nobody noes wat will happen next. I will choose a bottle of water. Msaybe there's another meaning to it? anyone wanna share?

Wanna get my dream job!!!

Hi everyone ! I will attend an interview for Etihad in Brasov ( Romania ) and I want to ask you sth . You talked here that they measure your hight before the interview which will be no problem for me.Do they measure your weight too before the interview or only at the medical test ? I have to put on weight I think , because I have only 46 kg now ( 163 hight ). Is this a majour problem ?
thanks !

Don't worry they won't be interested in your weight, actually they don't even measure your height, only if you can reach 212 or 214 cm without shoes. And I don't think your weight could be a problem, if you feel good and you look good..
I have 165cm and 48kg and I saw girls that were even thinner than me. But if you are a male then yes you'd better put on a few kilos.
Good luck to you

Sarah and Phillipe 24 Passport photos

Hi Guys,

In your offer of employment and contract is there anything stating that we must bring 24 passport photos to Abu Dhabi 12 with a blue background and the other plain.

I have not received this in my offer of employment or contract. Although have heard from other people that we must do so. Can you let me know exactly what is required if you have this in your contract/offer. I have tried to get through to HR with no luck.

Anyway 2 days to go and I fly out to AUH, really nervous and excited all in one.

Thanks

Lindsay

Hey there. Yes in the email and the website they send to you tells you need 6 copies of your passport and 24 passport photos with blue and white background 12 of each. I was wondering did you receive your travel info? I have been back and forth somewhat with the recruiter and have been expecting a call/email for like the last couple of days. Supposed to leave on Friday and have no info! Getting a little anxious. Also which recruiter have you been dealing with? Thanks and maybe we will be starting next monday if all goes well. Cheers.

lindsay and simpleplan

lindsay...yes, its true, they will need 24 id pictures, 12 on a plain background and 12 on a blue one, which is kinda hard to find (in belgium)..so i need more research..did u get already your flight info ? are you gonna stay in a hotel ? do you know already ?? i have my starting date around the 15th of oct. i m waiting for the confirmation, i sent an email to ryan yesterday with my medical stuff...i m really excited

simpleplan..just for your information, they will send u, as i heard, your flight information, at the last minute, two days or even one day prior your joining date..so dont get too nervous, it will come

so, i still need my blood test and chest xray done, and then i m done...

got rid of öy house, motorbkie and all the stuff. i just need to get rid of my car, so early october i hope..

so, then see u all in auh

kind regards

philippe
