where is everybody ????

Hello there... i m very surprised to find out that the other etihad thread is closed (the one with all our comments about interviews, results, questions, etc....) I think that was a huge help for us just to share questions, comments, infos, etc...
in my process of geting hired by etihad, it was a huge tool to keep informed....and have help from the other guys having had already the interviews, medicals, approvals, etc...also, about getting there and getting settled for this huge move in our lifes..
so, unfortunately, this is closed, so my question is now ..where are we gonna discuss all our issues, where can we ask questions, share infos, etc...
thanks for a reply from you thight slot, or from anybody else..
Or should we start, like the emirates one, a ETIHAD crews and wannabes...
thanks...hope to see evrybody again here soon

Hi guys :)

Hello everyone~~
My name is Sarah
I went to the Etihad cabin crew interview at the Heritage Hotel in Auckland/NZ and got through to the final interview.
I now have recieved an email from them saying they are happy to inform me that they are processing my file.... however its not the 100% yes to say that I've got the employment as I shouldnt quit my job just yet....I was wondering if anyone from New Zealand got the same thing as me? or anyone got through at all? I think I got the same thing as one of the girl from melbourne:Lindsay25 *I think I recieved my email on the same day as you Lindsay: was it on the 7th August?* if you like to keep in contact with me it would be so lovely my email address is [email protected]
Take care everyone Sarah.

Hi!

Hey guys
I was at the New York assessment day few days ago and I got
through to the finals. It's been 4 days and I can't stop thinking about
this job. on the first day I was pretty confident that I would get hired
and then from the next day I feel nervous and I keep thinking if I did
anything wrong at the final interview. and then I would feel confident
again and then nervous again. I guess this whole waiting thing is
for my patience! I've been preparing for this for the last 2 years so
I just can't believe that I even got through. It's like I'm dreaming...
I hope I don't get the rejection letter, I'm just a little
bit afraid if I get that letter, this whole dream will be a lie!
Well, but even if I get rejected this time, I'm gonna reapply in 6 months

Anyway, the whole recruitment process was exactly the same as other ones. Thanks to this forum I got to know wonderful people who helped
me a lot in preparing for this interview.

I have another 10 days to find out if I got in and now I should really
focus on something else, I'm having problems digesting and
I'm getting thinner and thinner(which is good for me )

Well, good luck on all of you who are waiting!!

Wink waiting

hi veronica,..and the rest

it is true, the worst in the whole thing is the waiting. the torture waiting like we say... i had my interview on the 29th of juky in sweden..the first week was the worst, because you know, you can get a rejection letter, but i ve heard from other people that they got a rejection letter even after 2 weeks..so, it was then even worse then...i could not sleep anymore,..thinking about that dream which i would not get in case of rejection, but veronica, like u said, just in th case of, you can apply again in 6 months, which is not that long...
If u want that dream , then do everyhting for it, it might take time, like in my case, but you will get it..
so, just hang in there..Be patient, and think positve, and prayers help...
good luck to everybody...and i want to see here only good news...

So If i dont hear from them by Wednesday the 29th I will email them. Let me know any information you may get hey im from AKL too but moved to Melbourne 3 years ago. And just so you dont get confused I am a guy as alot of people think LIndsay is a girl.
