no Maths love...

well, when I had the exam with EY there was no maths....no worry..
and if you are a native speaker in English you'll be fine was pretty easy..
and they'll give 15minutes for the test..

good luck to you..

Hey Seguarda al fine,

I was unsuccessful at the Etihad assessment on Sept. 1st and I got to know some nice people there, including a girl who made it. I chose the newspaper and she chose the water, because she said it was essential to survival. Then it clicked in my head...they were stressing earlier to the whole group how flight attendants are mainly safety officers...so it kinda linked with the whole survival thing. I dont know, I do think every little thing you do there contributes to you not getting in, maybe its completely random? I will definately try when they come again and choose an item to do with survival or safety. Maybe I was too outgoing as well, I socialised with everyone and made peopole laugh, they could have seen it as not serious enough? Who knows!

Start Date

Hey guys, how are you? I think i might be starting around the 21st aswell. (My Birthday) I sent off my medical documents a few weeks ago. Ryan & Zari asked me when i can start.. I stated around the 21st.

Just wondering if any of you have been told to resign from your current jobs or if you have been sent contracts yet? I need to give four weeks at my current airline, so i'd have to resign now..

I have two good friends from australia that have just graduated from ground school. From what they tell me, it was quite full on. Not because the info was "hard" but mainly because their was so much information to remember. They did say it was delived in a fun, professional learning environment.

Cant wait to hear back from Etihad.. Hope to see you all soon.

xo

Hi all,

I´ve been working as cabin crew for EZY for a year and a half int he UK and been related to commercial aviation for 7 years now. I like my job and love this industry so years ago I decided to make a career of it. I was thinking of applying to EY as I fancied not only a change but also an improvement but after reading this topic it seems like if there were some issues at EY that you find hard to deal with.

I am asking for your honest opinion on EY as a working place. I focused on this airline as it looked quite smart, young and it´s growing fast. Is it so bad? Are you happy there? Are your colleagues nice? Contracts, salaries and working hours are at least "reasonable"?

I would really appreciate your help so all comments are welcome. Thanks again.

Regards

Francisco C.

Dont leave a uk airline for Etihad please!

I have just left EY after only flying with them for 2 months the conditions are awful in 3 months my average salary was £350

I think if its your first crew job then its ok but I know you'd get treated better in the uk.

I dont want to kill dreams etc and I know eventually the salary would go up but if you would like me to spill all private message me.

To all who are reading Hatingey comments. I say each to their own.

Dont let one ex Cabin Crew put things in your mind.

There is much more then the 350 pounds a month. Your first 2 months of training you are paid the basic monthly and nothing else. Obviously because you are not flying yet you are not paid flying allowances etc etc...
But you do get approx AED3000 during training for food allowance and that.

Once you start flying then you'll be raking in the dollars. Accomadation, Health Insurance, Transport and much more is covered by EY. Whats not to hate about that? People are getting everything paid for them and they still complain?!
There are plenty of people around the World who would die for this job and we have crew who take advantage of it and complain....
Al Fardan where Hatingey was residing was ok but compared to other Etihad Accomadations..it was not the best...

Minimum rest is abit of a headache with EY...but they are growing too fast and short of crew we need to fly here and there..Im enjoying it..thats why Im here..to Fly...tired or not..every flight is an experience.

Know more let me know...Ive been here since April and loving it.

Etihad Interviews

Hi guys...

Does anyone perhaps know the phone number for Etihad Cabin crew Recruitment ??

We are from Johannesburg South Africa , and were invited for the assesment day on the 17th June 2007 - We passed all the rounds and were eventually the last 4 that made it through.

They gave us the whole " well let you know in 2weeks" story and we havent heard from them since. We are now clueless as to what we should do next , surely if we didnt make it through " management approval' then we woudv got the rejection letter , just like Fahim did.

Is it possible they lost our applications , or perhaps someone can shed some light on our situation or had a similar experience.

Any advice will be appreciated. Or PM me.

hi, i was assessed last weekend and was surprised to get "contract after probation" from Etihad, only 8 days after the final interview..

This is fast, although no commencement date is indicated yet..
