Awaiting Email - YYZ Assessment
Hey everyone,
Did anyone who went to the YYZ assessments last week recieve an email yet? I'm still waiting to hear from them. The recruiter said they would contact within a week...
Just wondering if anybody is also awaitng email after YYZ assessment.

Hey James...no news is good news...it took them a month and a half to contact me. I'm leaving for AUH this week. It's hard trust me...I went for the interveiw in May. Hang in there and good luck!

so it took them 4 months?how does it go anyway?i just had my interview in brussels 2 weeks ago and my other co-applicants already got a confirmation e-mail saying that they're gonna process their application..and im still waiting here..i even tried contacting the recruiter about my application but ofcourse got no reply..any advice?did they called you for the confirmation of ur application?how about your medicals?

wow - that is very confusing - i've been reading that the rejection emails go out before the application processing ones - so if you don't recieve either, where do you stand?
i see what people say about the company being disorganised - i dont mind it however it does make one kind of anxious - the waiting is terrible.
Anyways best of luck to everyone - here's hoping for a acceptance email from the airline shortly!!

Hi jump (im starting 23rd SEP)
Im just wondering when you received your visa and ticket. I have signed and returned my contract for starting the 23rd september and havent heard anything back from them in regard to flight details how long did you wait before these arrived.

Hey Lindsey...I got a call today to reconfirm my e-mail address so that they can send me my fligjt details on the 13th..i leave on the 15th. Seems different for everyone...i say just go with the flow...they always seem to get you there.
Jceee it seems to work different for everone...an friend of mine waited 2 months to hear back. People that I went to the interview with are already done thir training and are on line. Just hang in there...no news is good! Sometimes your security clearance takes a bit longer to process.Especially if you have travel alot.

Hey there you must be really excited now that you know your tickets are on the way. Obviously closer to the 23rd of September I should expect my ticket and visa so I will just relax and as you said go with the flow.

Hi everyone! As you can see things could be different from country to country and from person to person! I went on an interview 2 1/2 month ago and received confirmation just a week ago. I suppose to fly out on Friday or Saturday, they let me know and send me the ticket+visa until Thursday. So only 1 or 2 days before. Others who were on the interview with me, and sent their medicals at the same time, they are still waiting for the offer.
So just be patient...it is worth waiting!

hmm..but how come the other applicants already got their confirmation e-mails?i jsut contacted the hr officer who interviewed us and she said she already sent the form that was missing last time (but i have not recieved anything ofcourse) but she said she's gonna it again..so fingers crossed!!
and yeah,i've traveled a lot before so maybe that's why the wait is killing me!!

Hey everyone!! Well - if you had read before I was a very excited applicant going to assessment centre in Manchester UK on Sat 8th Sep. I only applied the Saturday beforehand on the internet and was surprised at how quick I got the invite!! Well 18 of us were there.... we got cut down to 9 after round one - then after round 2 we got cut to just 5 people....it was really nerve wracking having to wait but the actual day was good fun!
Well yesterday 4 out of 5 of us had heard we would be getting our applications processed for final approval....!!! So can anyone tell me what to expect really - and should I book my medical NOW? And hows things out there in AUH...!?!??! I'm so excited!!

you got the "happy to inform you~~~" email 2 days after your assessment,so the process is really becoming faster then before,however I think you should wait few days before doing all the medicals because it will cost you money!So,it's better to wait for the security clearance which take few weeks,but if you want to proceed with your medicals right now,in my opinion start with taking appointments with doctors first and do some test like the HIV or vaccinations but do not proceed with all the medicals,because the recruiter in my assessment day told us that it's better to wait for final approvals to do the medicals,just to be sure that you will not waste your money !

wat? already? like the next day you heard?!?! ok i went for my assessment on sept 1st in toronto and two of us got selected, and its been 10 days and ihavent hrd squat, neither has the other person.... no emails, nothing! i guess it does differ between countries and applicants.... hellooooo i would like something soon plz!!! who was ure recruiter?!?! jim?

The email we got is not a final approval!!!!!!!!! so receiving it after 3 days or one week or 10 days after the assessment doesn't mean that they mad a final decision because there is a security clearance to do,and this takes weeks,on the email we received they told us that they will proceed with our applications for other clearance...you should know also that not all people got this email,but after few weeks of waiting they got a call to proceed with the medicals,please read the other thread of Etihad you will find a lot of informations about it .No news is good news,because the rejection email is sent few days after the assessment day!

hey! It was Kim the Scottish girl - we asked how long it would take and she said up to a week possibly and the email was in my inbox first thing on Monday morning! I hope you hear soon!!
