Poretta (Bastia) Airport,Corsica?

Few countries in that part of the world refer to Police as 'Police'. Each having alternative titles eg Polis. The police car colour scheme is compatable with Greece, therefore, is it a Greek Island?

Yes Tigermate, its a Greek Island Airfield, 750 m runway, scheduled services with Olympic and Dash 7 Charterflights from Austria with 50 Pax in the eighties.

Soddit has it. It is Paros, Greek island south of Mykonos.

To get the clues rolling:

It has all the signs of being a 'caye' associated with a corel reef. Logic says to look towards Australia or Belize/Mexico, and I shall opt for the latter.

Is it a Central American airstrip?
