Presumably the high approach is to clear any AG.
Boscombe came to mind as it has a mix of concrete and asphalt runways. RWY 35 look most likely but doesn't seem to quite match.

Handsfree you are spot on with Boscombe Down and
rwy 05.
you are also correct in that it was best to land long to avoid the arrestor gear, hence the high approach.

Traffic appears to be driving on the left but difficult to be positive. If so, then given the trees and flying chappies liking to get things done in the morning, I'd hazard a pop at the east coast of Oz.

I would not worry too much about the side of the road the traffic is on. There are twin possibilities here:
1. It may well be that it changed.
2. There is some controversy as to whether this photo is a reversed image or not. My belief is that it is not and I have flown out of and into this airfield on a number of occasions.
