Funny that you challenge contains an airship hangar (airdock), as the "building" in the previous challenge made me think it was one.

Correct, RegDep. As expected, it didn't take long.

As you say, the hangar is the blimp airdock built I think in 1929. It was back then the world’s largest structure without interior supports. Originally built by Goodyear, it is now owned by Lockheed Martin.

Moorabbin, Harry Hawker Airport, Melbourne Australia was opened in December 1949.

It was named after Harry George Hawker MBE, AFC, (22 January 1889 – 12 July 1921) who was an Australian aviation pioneer and co-founder of Hawker Aircraft, the firm that would later be responsible for a long series of successful military aircraft, including the Fury, Sea Fury, Hurricane, Hunter and Harrier.

Hawker was born in Moorabbin, Victoria, Australia

He was killed on 12 July 1921 when the Nieuport Goshawk crashed while he was climbing out from Hendon Aerodrome while practicing for an airshow.

Moorabbin is now the 3rd busiest airport, by aircraft movements, in Australia.
